What we can offer
I-Armar is the section for the Industrial Engineering and Management Labor Market Committee. Our task is to present potential employers to students, and in collaboration with the business community to promote the personal and academic development of the section members. Every year we help around 80 satisfied companies with the goal of recruiting our students, please contact us if you are interested in taking part in our activities!
Proposals for collaborations
Lunch lecture
A great way to connect with students from multiple years is to hold a lunch lecture. During the lecture, you get the chance to invite the students to lunch while you lecture on a topic of your choice. This type of event is very popular in the section and gives you the opportunity to interact with our students!
Events
We offer companies the opportunity to organize different types of events to connect with students. Through our evening and case events, you can present your company and interact directly with students in a relaxed environment. We handle ticketing, marketing and premises at the school to make the event smooth. Examples of events include cases, pubs, workshops and mingling where you can network and build relationships with future talents. Contact us for more information and to book your event!
Case
An important part of preparing for working life is solving cases! Something we are happy to organize together with future employers. It can be anything from a light-hearted workshop to a competition. For case events, there is a special project group, called the Case Group, which is led by the case manager in I-Armar. At an event, the company is expected to contribute a case and jury, so the Case Group will arrange a venue and snacks if desired.
Mottagningen
Mottagningen is one of the highlights of the year for many Chalmers students, not least for the newly admitted. As a company, there are several ways you can participate, you can hold a lunch lecture, a mingle or participate in a sit-in, the possibilities are many! By getting to know our students during their first time at Chalmers, you get the chance to make an impression that lasts throughout your studies.
I-Dagen
During the autumn, I-Armar organizes a job fair where companies have the opportunity to exhibit with a booth. During the fair, the company gets to come into contact with students from all grades, and has the opportunity to present their company on a more personal level. I-Academy
Since 2015, the section has had an educational program in collaboration with the business community that runs during the spring semester each year. Then, around 20 students have the opportunity to participate in rewarding workshops at various companies that have the opportunity to create relationships with students. The educational program is aimed at students a little later in their education. Contact us and we will tell you more!
The Stockholm trip
Every semester we organize a trip to the capital where we visit different companies that get to introduce themselves and show around 30 students around their offices. The trip is very appreciated by both students and participating companies and is therefore an excellent opportunity to make contact with students through workshops, cases or similar activities.
